Campus Ministries

When Bill and Vonette Bright first launched Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) as a campus ministry in 1951, the underlying concept was to “ win the campus today and change the world tomorrow. ” 60 years later, the mission remains the same.

Today, the campus ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) in the Midsouth Region is a network of vibrant, growing movements on more than 75 campuses in North and South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia including over one million students. Proven and diverse outreach strategies expose these students to the gospel each year. Over the past five years, more than 37,900 students nationally made a decision to accept Christ into their life.

All campus ministries employ one main strategy: Win students to Christ, Build them up in their faith, Send them out to reach others.
